Hi, I’m Mindy.

I’m a proud mother of three adult children and a grandmother, a lifelong creative, and someone who took a long road to finally do the work I love.

Before The Style Space, I spent nearly twenty years in accounting-related roles. It was practical, steady, and responsible — but it left little room for color, creativity, or the way I naturally see and experience space. Outside of work, I was always daydreaming about homes: restoring older spaces, rethinking layouts, and imagining how rooms could feel more welcoming, balanced, and alive.

My love for homes started early. My dad was a general contractor, and I remember begging him to let me work alongside him. He once let me help install windows and siding — and I loved every minute of it. With four brothers, though, the girls were usually last in line. Life had other plans.

Still, the pull never left. For many years, interior design lived quietly in the background — until I reached a point where I could no longer ignore what truly inspired me. I took a leap, traded predictability for purpose, and built The Style Space as a reflection of what inspires me: homes that feel thoughtful, livable, and personal.  Today, I desire to help clients shape spaces that support real life — spaces meant to be rested in, gathered in, and enjoyed every day.
